CPHOA HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION HURRICANE EMERGENCy PREPARATION PLAN Winds in excess of 40 mph. Updated: 6-1-09 Maintenance and homeowner volunteers will provide the following services: 1. All swimming pool deck furniture, equipment loose items and planters shall be removed and stored inside the clubhouse. 2. The pool deck awning shall be taken down and stored in clubhouse. 3. The nets on the tennis courts and mats on the tennis court center light posts shall be taken down and stored in the clubhouse. 4. The golf cart shall be stored behind the clubhouse. 5. Management will supply Security with 2 separate lists of residents’ roster, alpha and numeric. 6. All office equipment and files will be secured. Unplug all electrical equipment. 7. Clubhouse hurricane shutters will be closed and the clubhouse shut down. 8. Pre-Authorizatjons for post-storm clean up have been approved, signed by Association President and have been submitted to Customer Service for follow up and record keeping. 9. Take pre and post storm photos of property using disposable cameras. 10. Shut down irrigation system. Security will provide the following services: 1. Guard will evacuate post after hurricane warning — winds exceed 35 mph. 2. Guard supervisor will secure all computer and camera equipment. 3. Remove flag from flagpole and store in gatehouse. 4. Entrance and Exit gate poles will be removed and stored until immediately after the storm. 5. Security will provide 24-hr coverage immediately after the storm. If the gatehouse telephone is out of order the gatebouse emergency phone # is 561-908-10112. 6. Management will supply security two six-volt batteries as back up. 7. Important information will be provided to the website administrator for ebulletins. In case of emergency, please call 911. All residents are asked to check on their neighbors.
