ANNOUNCEMENT
Are you interested in joing the E-Mail tennis group at Crystal Pointe??

If so, here is how we schedule matches three nights a week: I use the e-mail address of fldgrd2@yahoo.com and I send out a message to our e-mail list each Monday asking for folks to sign up by return e-mail for Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday at 6:30 pm. If any one wishes to play at any of the given times, then all he or she does is send me a return message. The first ones to send a message back get priority in being assigned to a four-person group.

As soon as I get four persons signed up for a given time, I send out a message announcing that we have four players to fill one court. If I continue to get names, then we try to fill a second court.

If you are unable to play, then there is no need to respond to the e-mail. Some people go several months without responding.

Most of the players prefer to play doubles exclusively, but there are a few who also like to play singles.

Most of our players live at Crystal Pointe. For those who do not, one of us always calls the gatehouse ahead of time to make sure the guard grants them access.

We have 30 people on the list -- 20 males, 8 females. Most are B and C players. Some play rarely, others are regulars and play a couple of times a week.

If you e-mail me your e-mail address, I will add you to my e-mail list, and you will be getting my normal 'Monday Message' the following week. When I send the messages, I put all the addresses in the bcc box so that no one can capture our list and send us unwanted spam. If you ever want to be deleted, just reply to the e-mail and place the following in the subject line: TAKE ME OFF YOUR E-MAIL LIST, THANK YOU.

I hope to get more players to sign up, and I hope to meet more people on the courts soon.
